Canada and Ukraine to start joint production of military equipment and weapons

Canada and Ukraine signed an agreement in Kyiv on joint production of military products.
Ukrainian Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal wrote about this on his Telegram channel, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
According to him, the agreement is aimed at deepening bilateral defense-industrial cooperation and expanding the creation of new production facilities in the two countries.
Shmyhal added that the agreements reached facilitate the exchange of technologies and will provide the Armed Forces of Ukraine with modern weapons and military equipment in the long term.
on August 24, Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney announced that $1 billion would be allocated to Kyiv for the supply of weapons.
Carney noted that since the beginning of hostilities, Canada has helped train 45,000 soldiers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. He also congratulated Ukraine on its Independence Day and emphasized that more than a million ethnic Ukrainians consider Canada their home.
Earlier, the Prime Minister of Canada arrived in Ukraine on Independence Day and promised to increase support.
