The 2026 admissions cycle has closed. The average competitive score of applicants who applied to KSE University is 174.9. This is the highest score among Ukrainian universities, according to EDBO data. The next highest score is 168.7.

KSE leads not only in the overall rankings but also in every program that can be directly compared. In the five programs shared with the Ukrainian Catholic University—which is closest to KSE in terms of scores:

  • Psychology — 168.2 vs. 162.4 (5.8)
  • Economics — 173.2 vs. 168.1 (5.1)
  • Automation — 175.1 vs. 171.2 (3.9)
  • Law — 175.5 vs. 171.8 (3.7)
  • Computer Science — 175.8 vs. 175.0 (0.8)

An application does not yet guarantee admission. Applicants submit up to five applications, and every university at the top of the rankings is competing for the same students. The actual composition of the incoming class will be determined by the allocation of state-funded spots and signed contracts. KSE is currently running separate predictive models for each program.

“KSE has the highest average applicant scores—both for each program and overall. This doesn’t necessarily mean that, once admitted, we’ll have the strongest students in Ukraine, but there’s a chance of that. We are currently running various forecast models for each program,” says Tymofiy Milovanov, president of KSE.

“UCU and Mohyla Academy are our closest and most important universities. Choose them or us,” adds Tymofiy Milovanov.

Earlier, students from KSE’s Product Lab launched the “Applicant Calculator” tool. It calculated the probability of admission to a specific program at a specific university: an applicant enters their scores, selects a program, and sees how well their strategy aligns with their goals—across universities, across programs, and between state-funded and private options. The product was developed by Yegor Isakov, a student at KSE University.
