China considers destroying Starlink satellites

Chinese scientists are developing strategies to counteract businessman Elon Musk’s Starlink satellites.
This was reported by the Associated Press, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
The publication notes that the Chinese side is considering invisible submarines with space lasers, “supply chain sabotage” and ion-propelled strike satellites to counter the satellites.
According to the agency, the Chinese government and military scientists have already published dozens of articles in journals discussing ways to detect and destroy Starlink satellites.
According to Chinese researchers, the spacecraft pose a high risk to the Chinese government and its strategic interests. The fears stem from Starlink’s ties to U.S. intelligence and the U.S. Department of Defense, as well as its growing global presence.
