21 June 09:15
On the night of Sunday, June 21, a series of explosions rocked various areas of the temporarily occupied Crimea. Local residents reported yet another attack by unmanned aerial vehicles. This was reported by RBC-Ukraine, as cited by "Komersant Ukrainian".
According to media reports, the sounds of explosions and the invaders’ air defense systems were heard in several major cities and regions across the peninsula.
In particular, residents of Kerch, Bakhchisaray, Sevastopol, Simferopol, as well as the Nizhnegorsk, Krasnogvardeisky, and Krasnoperekopsky districts reported the activation of air defense systems.
Due to the aerial threat, Russian occupiers were forced to urgently shut down traffic on the Kerch Bridge.
As a result of the UAV attack, a massive fire broke out near the Kerch seaport—a local fuel terminal was likely hit. A column of thick black smoke rose above the city.
