On the territory of the destroyed “Azovstal” in Mariupol occupants plan to make a park

The occupants of Mariupol, which is temporarily occupied by the Russians, have decided not to restore the Azovstal steel mill, but plan to make an industrial park there.
This was announced by the city council of Ukrainian Mariupol in a telegram, reports "Komersant Ukrainian".
“The metallurgical plant will not be restored. On its territory they plan to create … industrial park,” – stated in the message.
It is noted that the occupiers have already stated that the construction of this park will take more than 10 years.
So, on the territory of the plant destroyed by the Russian military plan to open a “House furnace”, where you can learn about the methods of metallurgical production. Also in the plans – to organize an industrial park and transport and logistics center.
The City Council reminded that the Russian occupants in the spring of 2022 destroyed the Azovstal Iron and Steel Works as a result of heavy shelling.
Ukrainian defenders held a heroic defense, many of whom were killed as a result of enemy shelling.
