Chinese leader Xi Jinping has promised to send rose seeds to U.S. President Donald Trump . Trump made this announcement on Friday, May 15, according to Sky News, as reported by "Komersant Ukrainian".

According to Trump, Xi made the offer after the two leaders had spent about 10 minutes strolling through the gardens at the Zhongnanhai government compound in Beijing.

“These are the most beautiful roses anyone has ever seen. I asked the president, ‘Could you send me some for the [White House] rose garden?’ and he agreed. I’ve never seen such big roses!” Trump said.

Zhongnanhai is a closed government complex housing the leadership of the Communist Party of China, often compared to the White House in the United States. It covers approximately 1,500 acres, nearly half of which is covered by lakes. The complex features gardens, pavilions, and administrative buildings.
