The enemy attacked the Odesa region: port infrastructure was damaged

On the night of May 16, Russian forces launched a massive attack on the southern part of the Odesa region using strike drones. Residential and port infrastructure was damaged, and there are casualties. This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian", citing a Telegram post by Oleg Kipper, head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration.

As a result of the attack, a drone was recorded striking a five-story residential building. The facade and windows were damaged, and balconies and a car dealership on the first floor caught fire.

In addition, a single-story residential building was damaged, and two people were injured.

Port infrastructure—a warehouse and an administrative building—was also damaged. Windows at the facilities were shattered.

Furthermore, debris was reported to have fallen onto the grounds of an educational institution.

Emergency and utility services are working at the scene. Residents of the damaged buildings are receiving assistance, and work to address the consequences is ongoing.

Law enforcement agencies are documenting yet another war crime committed by the Russian Federation against the civilian population.

On the night of May 15, the enemy launched a combined missile and drone strike on the Odesa region. The strike resulted in casualties, and damage to residential areas has been reported.
