Valentina Savitska, head of the Center for International Cooperation and Strategic Communications at the State Security Service of Ukraine, was killed in a Russian missile strike on the Kyiv region on July 24.
Her husband, Ihor Solovey, head of the Center for Strategic Communications, announced her death, according to "Komersant Ukrainian"
“My family is in terrible grief: monsters have killed my beloved girlfriend and caring wife, loving mother and daughter, Valentina Savitska (Linevich). I will write later about the place and time of the funeral. Remember my beloved—she was an incredible person, the best person in the world…,” he wrote.
Who Was Valentina Savitskaya
Valentina Savitska headed the Center for International Cooperation and Strategic Communications at the State Security Service of Ukraine.
She worked in the fields of government strategic communications, international cooperation, and information policy.
According to her loved ones and colleagues, Valentina was a consummate professional, a wife, a mother, and a person respected by everyone who worked with her.
She would have turned 33 in August.

Russian Strike on the Kyiv Region
Valentyna Savitska was killed during a massive Russian attack on the Kyiv region on July 24.
Earlier, Ukrainian authorities reported that the Bucha district suffered the most damage.
According to official reports, 10 people were killed and nearly 100 others were injured as a result of the Russian missile strike.
The shelling caused widespread destruction to civilian infrastructure, residential buildings, and other facilities.
Russia continues to attack the civilian population
Since the start of the full-scale war, Russia has regularly carried out missile and drone strikes on Ukrainian cities.
Residential neighborhoods, hospitals, educational institutions, and transportation and energy infrastructure are all coming under fire.
Ukrainian authorities and international partners emphasize that attacks on civilian targets constitute a gross violation of international humanitarian law.
