A shopping center is on fire in Zaporizhzhia following an overnight attack: what are the consequences?

On the night of July 24–25, Russian occupation forces attacked Zaporizhzhia with strike drones. A strike on a commercial building caused a massive fire that engulfed approximately 500 square meters.
This was reported by Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, according to "Komersant Ukrainian"

According to Ivan Fedorov, Russian drones struck one of the city’s commercial facilities.
A massive fire broke out following the strike.
“The area affected by the fire is about 500 square meters. Merchandise is burning,” said the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration.
According to preliminary reports, people were injured as a result of the attack.
It has now been officially confirmed that a 63-year-old man was injured.
Information regarding other possible casualties is being verified.
Following the strike, rescue workers, medical personnel, police, and other emergency services arrived at the scene.






Specialists are extinguishing the fire and inspecting the area to rule out any further threats.

Russia continues to attack civilian infrastructure
Zaporizhzhia is regularly subjected to attacks by Russian missiles, guided bombs, and attack drones.
Residential neighborhoods, commercial facilities, industrial enterprises, and transportation and energy infrastructure are all coming under fire.
Ukrainian authorities are once again urging residents not to ignore air raid sirens and to immediately seek shelter.
