Arson at a factory in the Czech Republic: the number of people detained has risen to 11

Czech law enforcement officials have now detained 11 suspects in connection with the arson attack on the LPP Holding arms factory in Pardubice. The latest suspect, the 11th, has been detained and is a foreign national.
This was reported by Radio Prague International, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".
The suspect is to be charged with committing a terrorist act and participating in the activities of a terrorist group.
The Prague police and prosecutor’s office announced this on social media platform X and on their website. Ten people had previously been detained in connection with this case.
The arson at the LPP Holding arms factory took place on March 20, 2026.
The fire at the industrial complex broke out in the morning of that day, completely destroying the production hall and damaging the company’s adjacent administrative building. The damage amounts to hundreds of millions of crowns.
LPP Holding, among other things, manufactures drones for Ukraine. Responsibility for the fire was claimed by the previously unknown anti-Israeli group “Earthquake Faction.”

Special Unit Investigation
A special police unit, the National Center for Combating Terrorism, Extremism, and Cybercrime (NCTEKK), is handling the case. They are considering four theories regarding the arson, including a possible “false flag” operation.
Also, three men were recently detained in Poland for “planting bombs” in buildings, underscoring the growing activity in the realm of terrorism and extremism in the region.
In Pardubice, the district court remanded another individual in custody on suspicion of involvement in the arson.
