The National Council on Television and Radio Broadcasting has registered a new television channel operated by TRK Newsmax Ukraine LLC, which will use internet broadcasting technology (OTT, IPTV). The regulator adopted this decision at its meeting on May 28.

This was reported by Detector Media, as relayed by "Komersant Ukrainian".

It is noted that the new channel will feature the Newsmax Ukraine logo.

The channel’s executive producer, Lyudmila Nemyria, emphasized that correspondents from the American channel Newsmax were present at hotspots on the front lines.

She noted:

“Newsmax will be a platform for communication between the American and Ukrainian peoples. The Ukrainian agenda must be heard in the U.S. This will be the main goal of our work.”

The channel will target Ukrainian and American audiences.

Nemyria reported that broadcasts will be translated into English, and joint broadcasts are planned, featuring American politicians alongside Ukrainian ones.
