Russian troops struck the “Aurora” distribution center

On Saturday, August 22, Russian forces struck the “Aurora” distribution center. "Komersant Ukrainian" reports this, citing a post by the company on Facebook.

“Today, the ‘Aurora’ distribution center was damaged as a result of an enemy attack,” the post reads.

At the time of the attack, all employees were in shelters. Relevant services are on the scene. The consequences and extent of the damage are currently being assessed.

The press office noted that the “Aurora” chain of stores is operating as usual.

Aurora Multimarket is Ukraine’s largest one-dollar store chain, with revenue in 2025 exceeding 58 billion hryvnias, including VAT. As of the beginning of the year, there were 1,817 Aurora stores operating in Ukraine (including 167 in Kyiv) and 65 in Romania.
