Russian troops destroyed the UKRTAC plant and a logistics hub in the Kyiv region

During a large-scale nighttime combined missile and drone strike launched by Russian forces against Ukraine on the night of Sunday, July 19, the factory and warehouses of the ballistic protection manufacturer UKRTAC were completely destroyed. This was reported by Severion Dangadze, the company’s director of development. "Komersant Ukrainian" reported this, citing DW.
“Friends, last night our company suffered the greatest tragedy in its entire history. As a result of a direct missile strike, the UKRTAC factory and our warehouses were completely destroyed,” he said.
According to Dangadze, no company personnel were injured.
“We will not give up. We will rebuild. We will continue to work. And we will do everything to make UKRTAC even stronger,” he promised.
Logistics center destroyed in the Bucha district
In addition, according to the State Emergency Service (SES), several large-scale fires broke out in the Bucha district of Kyiv Oblast as a result of the Russian attack, specifically at warehouse buildings and a logistics facility.

“The fire engulfed two warehouse buildings with a total area of about 100,000 square meters. More than 200 rescue workers and 73 pieces of equipment, including 3 helicopters, have been deployed to extinguish the fire,” the SES reported.
According to preliminary information, two people were injured in the attack. The logistics center targeted was likely “Antel,” located in the Bucha district, according to the publication “Ekonomichna Pravda.”
On Saturday night, Russian forces attacked Ukraine with 166 weapons: 41 missiles and 125 drones of various types. Kyiv was the main target of the strike. According to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, one person was killed and 16 were wounded in Kyiv and the surrounding region.
