Zlochevsky sisters enter the gas industry: which fields the family company has gained control over

11 November 2025 17:44

In October 2025, the daughters of former Minister of Ecology Mykola Zlochevsky, Anna and Karina Zlochevsky, became the owners of Storence LLC, which last year acquired a special permit for gas production at the Starobohorodchanske field in Ivano-Frankivsk region.

This was reported by Nadra.info with reference to the YouControl system, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.

According to the publication, this was the beginning of a large-scale expansion of the company: in November, Storence received approval from the State Service of Geology and Mineral Resources to control three other fields in Volyn and Luhansk regions.

How the company changed owners

Before the Zlochevskys took control, Storence changed owners twice during the year:

  • in May 2025, the company was re-registered from Pavlo Vyshenskyi to Oleksandr Kirimov,
  • in September – to Roman Chumak.

And on October 14-16, the Zlochevsky sisters became the beneficiaries through the Cyprus company Diloretio Holdings LTD.

What did Storence get after the change of ownership?

According to the order of the head of the State Service of Geology and Subsoil, Oleh Hotsynets, dated November 5, the company gained control over three special permits:

  • Vergunske field (Luhansk region) – oil and gas production to a depth of 1000 meters;
  • Krutohorivske field (Luhansk region ) – oil, gas, condensate and related components (ethane, propane, butanes, helium);
  • Zahorivska area (Volyn region ) – oil, gas and condensate.

Two of the three facilities – Vergunske and Krutohorivske – are located in the temporarily occupied territory of Luhansk region.

Who owns the assets

  • Kub-Gas LLC, from which Storence received two fields, is owned by Anna and Karina Zlochevsky through the Cyprus-based Kubgas Holdings Limited.
  • The third permit was granted to Energogaztrend LLC, which is controlled by businessman Vitaliy Shylin.

Thus, part of the new assets of Storens is actually a redistribution of resources between related companies of the Zlochevsky family.

What we know about the Zlochevskys

Anna and Karina Zlochevsky are the daughters of Mykola Zlochevsky, who headed the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources in 2010-2014 and is the founder of Burisma Holdings, one of the largest gas production groups in Ukraine.

After 2014, Zlochevsky was detained abroad on suspicion of illicit enrichment, but the case was later closed.

The expansion of Storence indicates the return of the Zlochevsky family to the Ukrainian gas production sector, despite the state’s attempts to limit the concentration of special permits in the hands of a few major players.

Gaining control over fields in the occupied territory creates a legal conflict: Ukrainian companies cannot operate there, but retain ownership of the licenses.
