What this means for the market
Construction and renovation remain among the most popular sectors of the labor market. Salaries have increased across all analyzed specialties, with the highest pay going to specialists with practical skills and narrow specializations, namely plasterers, facade workers, bricklayers, and tile setters.
At the same time, the market is not homogeneous. Mass-market positions, such as general laborers, construction workers, and installers, make up the bulk of job openings. In specialized fields, the number of job postings is sometimes declining, but wages continue to rise.
Regionally, the strongest markets are Kyiv, Ivano-Frankivsk, and Lviv regions. However, high salaries in construction are no longer limited to just the largest markets: western regions are also among the leaders in terms of pay. For employers, this means that competition for specialists is intensifying not only between companies but also between regions.
