Top 20 Effective Corporate Lawyers: Who Made the List

“Yuridicheskaya Gazeta” presented its ranking of the top 20 most effective corporate lawyers. In this category, representatives of law firms recognized corporate lawyers whom they consider to be the most prominent in the market based on their performance over the past year, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".

The voting took into account participation in complex and strategic projects, management results, handling of legal and regulatory risks, development of the company’s internal projects, an active market presence, and open professional communication.

Representatives of large Ukrainian and international businesses predominate among those recognized in this category. The most heavily represented sectors are agribusiness and the food industry, FMCG and retail, energy, telecommunications, the technology sector, and financial services. These are primarily large businesses with complex structures, significant regulatory burdens, and a multitude of operational and legal risks.

The work of a corporate lawyer in such companies is not limited to legal support. They are involved in strategic projects, internal changes, risk management, corporate governance, and interactions with government agencies.

A notable feature of this year’s nominations was the significant representation of women—heads of legal departments, as well as female lawyers involved in the management of large Ukrainian and international companies.

The top list includes Dmytro TARANCHUK (FARMAK), Artem FILIPIEV (KERNEL), Natalia LISA (Nestlé South Eastern Europe), and others.
