Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary for the Russian dictator, stated in an interview that the “special military operation in Ukraine” will continue. This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian", citing Russian propaganda media.

“The special military operation will continue,” the Kremlin spokesman emphasized.

The day before, Russian dictator Vladimir Putin announced his intention to continue massive strikes against Ukraine. According to him, the attacks should target facilities of the military-industrial complex and the infrastructure that supports its operations.

“The task of launching massive, coordinated strikes against the infrastructure of Ukraine’s military-industrial complex and the facilities that support its operations must continue,” Putin said.

In this way, the Kremlin has effectively confirmed its intention to continue striking Ukrainian infrastructure that Russia considers to be linked to the defense sector.

Russia continues airstrikes

Putin’s statement came amid regular, massive Russian attacks using strike drones, cruise missiles, and ballistic missiles. The main targets of Russian strikes remain energy, transportation, and other critical infrastructure, as well as civilian facilities in Ukrainian cities.

The Ukrainian Air Force regularly reports the destruction of a significant portion of aerial targets; however, individual missiles and drones continue to cause destruction and result in civilian casualties.
