In Ukraine, the blueberry season kicked off with fairly high prices
4 July 20:11
As early as the end of last week, Ukrainian growers began harvesting blueberries grown in open fields, according to analysts from the EastFruit project, as reported by "Komersant Ukrainian".
This year’s season began around the same time as last year. At the same time, wholesale prices for this berry are already significantly higher than during the same period last year.

Currently, the supply of locally grown blueberries on the market remains quite limited. At the same time, demand for this berry is considered to be quite high. Wholesale batches of open-field blueberries are currently being sold for 380–450 UAH/kg($8.49–10.05/kg). Larger shipments of blueberries from Ukrainian farms are expected as early as next week.
It is worth noting that the current price of blueberries in Ukraine is already, on average, 27% higher than at the start of the 2025 season. Producers attribute this price difference to a decline in the country’s total blueberry harvest due to unfavorable weather conditions during the ripening period.
