Strike on ATB warehouses in Dnipro: what is known about the aftermath of the attack

On the evening of June 3, Russian troops launched a massive attack on Dnipro and the Dnipro district. The city’s logistics infrastructure was targeted, including the warehouses of the ATB grocery supermarket chain. A large-scale fire broke out at the site of the strike.
Dnipro Mayor Boris Filatov reported the attack, according to "Komersant Ukrainian"
According to him, the Russian army specifically targeted the food warehouses.
“We gave them a combat corvette in Kronstadt. And they gave us ATB food warehouses in Dnipro,” Filatov wrote.
According to preliminary data, the Russian strike set fire to the warehouses of one of Ukraine’s largest retail chains. These are logistics facilities that supply food and everyday goods.

The head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Hanzha, confirmed that Russian troops had attacked the area again. He also reported that the warehouses had caught fire.
The strike on the warehouse area caused a massive fire. Information regarding the exact extent of the damage is still being determined.
It is also currently being determined whether there are any casualties directly on the territory of the attacked facility. At the time of the initial reports, final data regarding people in the warehouses had not been released.











There are casualties in another part of the district
Meanwhile, according to regional authorities, six people in another part of the Dniprovskyi district required medical assistance. Five of the injured were hospitalized in the city.
It is known that three of them are in serious condition.
In total, 12 people have been reported injured in the Dnipropetrovsk region as a result of Russian attacks over the course of the day.
According to authorities, Russian forces struck four districts of the region more than 50 times throughout the day. The occupiers used the following for their attacks:
- drones,
- artillery,
- missiles,
- airstrikes.
