Oleksandr Fediyenko, a member of the Servant of the People party, posted a video of an exhibition of electronic warfare equipment in Ternopil and named the plant that manufactures it. After that, Russian troops attacked the city with missiles.

“When you ask why it flew to Ternopil, look at this video that I posted on my TG channel. MP Oleksandr Fediyenko, who is also a member of the National Security Committee, posted a video on his YouTube channel of an exhibition of our electronic warfare manufacturers. He named the place, city and factory where they make it. Of course, he deleted the video. But I managed to record the key parts,” the post says.
In a comment to "Komersant Ukrainian", MP Oleksandr Fedienko commented on the situation. The elected representative of the people assures that the released footage is a video that he shot at the beginning of the summer at an exhibition in Kyiv.
“I don’t know, by the way, who Yulia Kiriyenko is, first of all. Secondly, somewhere in the beginning of the summer in the city of Kyiv there was a public commercial exhibition, at which there were a lot of various enterprises. There was also a Ternopil stand. Representatives of the stand handed out flyers, that there was also… advertising and so on. There were a lot of journalists, media, I don’t know, everyone was there.
Why exactly Ms. Yulia needed to find a fragment of my video, a public video, from this exhibition, at a time when anti-corruption agencies are trying to focus society on Operation Midas, I don’t know,” Fedienko said.
Russian strike on Ternopil
As a reminder, on the night of Wednesday, November 19, Russian troops launched a combined attack on Ternopil using missiles and attack drones.
As a result of the attack, residential buildings were damaged, and there were killed and wounded. One of the multi-storey buildings partially collapsed, and a search and rescue operation is underway.
According to Yuriy Ihnat, head of the Air Force Command’s communications department, preliminary data indicate that an X-101 missile hit a residential building in Ternopil.
According to the latest reports, 26 people, including three children, were killed and more than 90 were injured.
According to Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiga, Ukraine will bring to the forefront the Russian attack on the apartment building in Ternopil at a meeting of the UN Security Council to be held today, November 20.
We will remind, a similar incident occurred on August 19, 2023. Russian terrorists hit a drama theater in the center of Chernihiv – a drone exhibition was taking place there. Six people died as a result of the strike, including one child. This is a 6-year-old girl. 36 people were injured. The organizer of the “Angry Birds” exhibition is Maria Berlinska. The press service of the Chernihiv City Council reported that the exhibition was not coordinated with local authorities.
