Russia’s strike in Zaporizhzhya: number of wounded rises to 113

A Russian attack on Zaporizhzhia on the afternoon of January 8 killed 13 people. Another 113 residents were wounded. This was reported by the head of the OVA Ivan Fedorov, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".

“113 wounded, 10 of them in serious condition – these are the consequences of yesterday’s Russian attack on Zaporizhzhia. The enemy struck the center of Zaporizhzhia with anti-aircraft guns. Thirteen people were killed. Medical aid was provided to 113 victims, including a 13-year-old child. Currently, 59 people are hospitalized, 10 of them in serious condition,” noted Fedorov.

The Interior Ministry reported that a girl born in 2011 was among the injured.

36 vehicles were damaged, including a tram, 2 taxis, 3 administrative buildings and a residential high-rise.

Rescuers extinguished the fire in an 800-square-meter administrative building and 3 cars.

Police registered 163 statements from citizens.

Emergency rescue operations have been completed.

At the same time, last night it was known that 63 people were injured in the city due to the Russian strike with the KABs. And according to the head of the JMA, a total of 80 people sought medical care.

In addition, the Russian shelling of Stepnohirsk in the late afternoon of January 8 left 2 people dead and 2 wounded.

In total, the Russian occupiers struck 333 times in 12 settlements of Zaporizhzhia region over the past day.
