Uklon is launching its own marketplace, Uklon Store

11 June 21:21

Uklon, a well-known taxi and delivery service, has announced the launch of a new marketplace, Uklon Store, within its app of the same name.

This was announced in a company post on social media, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".

The first category in the beta version of the marketplace is “Flowers.”

Currently, the service is available only in Kyiv, but this could mark the beginning of a larger expansion in the future.

The “Flowers” service is easy to find on the Uklon app’s home screen.

How to Order?

The ordering process is simple and intuitive:

  1. Select a store from the catalog.
  2. Add the desired items to your cart.
  3. Confirm payment.

Once these steps are completed, your order will be delivered to the specified address.

Serhiy Hryshkov, CEO of Uklon, emphasized that the launch of the marketplace is a key part of the company’s development strategy.

“The launch of the marketplace is a continuation of our strategy to transition from a single product to an ecosystem of complementary services. We have an active, solvent audience, a strong technological platform, and our own delivery infrastructure, so the marketplace is a natural extension of what we have already built. Today, it is already the sixth product in the app—alongside rides, delivery, bus ticket purchases, and electric scooters. “We’re starting with the ‘Flowers’ category and will expand the marketplace as demand grows and new relevant categories emerge,” said Serhii Hryshkov, CEO of Uklon.

The new Uklon Store marketplace has become the sixth product in the Uklon app. In addition to taxis and delivery, users can now book a driver, buy bus tickets, and use electric scooters. This makes Uklon a more versatile platform for meeting users’ diverse needs.

What is known about Uklon

Uklon is a Ukrainian online car-hailing service that operates via a mobile app and web platform. The company was founded in 2010 in Kyiv as a tech project for finding and hailing taxis.

The service allows you to:

  • book rides around the city;
  • choose a car class;
  • pay for rides with cash or a credit card;
  • order delivery of packages and goods;
  • use corporate transportation services.

The platform operates as a marketplace, connecting passengers and driver-partners.

Uklon launched in Ukraine and later began expanding into international markets. The company operates in dozens of Ukrainian cities and is growing its presence abroad.

After the start of the full-scale war, Uklon remained one of the largest Ukrainian ride-hailing services and competes with international platforms such as Uber.

The company is also developing its own technological solutions and investing in logistics services and digital transportation products.
