Ukraine Has Increased Its Apple Exports: What Are the Volumes? 

This season, Ukrainian companies have significantly increased their apple exports, shipping more than 22,000 metric tons of the product between July 2025 and April 2026. This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian", citing AgroTimes.

At the same time, apple imports into Ukraine fell to approximately 5,500 metric tons. By comparison, during the 2024/25 season, the country shipped about 16,800 metric tons of apples abroad, while importing 18,200 metric tons, ending the year with a trade deficit.

According to Vladimir Gurzhiy, head of USPA Fruit, the main reason for the positive trend was an increase in the gross harvest of marketable apples, which made it possible to fully meet domestic demand and increase shipments to foreign markets.

The geographic distribution of shipments remains stable: the main buyers of Ukrainian apples are the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Uzbekistan, Turkey, and Sweden.
