Ukrainian strikes are more effective than sanctions—after each one, the world turns its back on Russia: Novak

No sanctions package hits Russia as hard as the direct strikes by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the aggressor country’s infrastructure. Economist Andriy Novak spoke about this in an interview with the YouTube channel "Komersant Ukrainian".


He emphasized that following the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ precise strikes on Russian targets, even those countries that have continued to cooperate with Russia—China, India, and Turkey—are increasingly refusing to engage in joint business ventures. The reasons are simple: there is a risk of losing goods, insurance costs are rising, and reputations are being damaged.

“Anyone working with Russia right now is already associated with a negative image,” the economist noted.


In his view, Ukraine’s strikes are now far stronger and more effective than all European sanctions packages combined, because they strike daily and simultaneously on multiple fronts.
