At an off-site meeting in Mykolaiv, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted a series of decisions aimed at addressing key issues in the Kherson and Mykolaiv regions. According to "Komersant Ukrainian", Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko announced this on Facebook.

According to her, the enemy has changed its tactics for using drones to attack critical infrastructure in the southern regions, so it is necessary to respond accordingly and ensure protection as part of preparations for the coming winter within the framework of the Regional Resilience Plans.

The government has instructed the Ministry of Development to develop additional engineering and technical solutions to protect critical elements of water treatment facilities and water supply systems, particularly the Mykolaiv water pipeline. It was launched in the fall of 2025 and provides hundreds of thousands of people with fresh water. Safety measures were incorporated into the water pipeline itself during the construction phase. Its additional protection is a priority for the region, Svyrydenko noted.

According to her, the resilience of frontline communities depends on the operation of local businesses, so the government has instructed officials to prepare amendments to support programs for entrepreneurs in frontline territories. These include affordable loans at 5-7-9%, grants, state guarantees, and insurance against war risks.

Svyrydenko added that the Cabinet of Ministers has also instructed officials to champion a bill in the Verkhovna Rada regarding the taxation of agricultural producers in frontline territories, as well as to prepare measures to expand compensation for Ukrainian agricultural equipment and support for land reclamation systems in frontline regions.
