Valery Borovik announced the development of special weapons in Ukraine and warned of the risk of global escalation of the war.

Valery Borovik, a combat veteran and founder of Ukrainian defense manufacturer First Contact, has stated that Ukraine has developed special types of weapons and expressed concern about possible scenarios for the escalation of the war.
He spoke about this in an interview with the YouTube channel "Komersant Ukrainian".
According to Borovyk, special means of influence have already been used in the world, in particular during the operation to detain Nicolas Maduro.
“When Maduro was captured, special weapons were used, causing the guards to bleed from their mouths and noses. They couldn’t use air defense systems because the electromagnetic influence was special and so on,” he said.
Borovik noted that similar developments exist in Ukraine.
“We have these developments too. I won’t say that they have been implemented, but they exist. I remember them,” he said.
According to him, after 2014, a closed conference was held in Lviv, at which one of the local institutes proposed to implement similar projects.
“That is, these things that were done in the Soviet Union were sometimes more frightening than what was done in other countries. This can be implemented. Perhaps it will take some time. We did not pursue this topic,” explained the founder of First Contact.

He also stressed that violations of international humanitarian law are being recorded on various sides in the war.
“Let’s be honest, there are violations of the Geneva Convention on both sides. We are surviving, we are defending ourselves, we must survive and our children must live, but they are attacking and using various methods. Therefore, in conclusion, I can say that, unfortunately, we have not seen everything yet,” Borovyk noted.
He also expressed his opinion on the possible development of a global conflict.
“If the war continues, and my opinion is that it will be World War III, most likely with the use of nuclear weapons, possibly local, possibly tactical. When the explosion will be several blocks away, but the contamination will be greater to show this power. I think this is possible. And the world is slowly preparing for this, or is already prepared in its consciousness,” he concluded.
In general, in his interview, First Contact founder Valery Borovik emphasized that Ukraine has developments in the field of special types of weapons, although they have not yet been implemented in practice.
He emphasized the complexity of modern warfare, the presence of violations of international humanitarian law by various parties, and expressed concern about the possible escalation of the conflict to the scale of World War III with the likely use of tactical nuclear weapons.
In his opinion, the world is gradually preparing psychologically for such scenarios, and humanity may yet see the worst manifestations of war.
