President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked the American people for the visit. He expressed his gratitude to the President, Congress and the American people.
The head of the Ukrainian state announced this on the social network X, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
“Thank you, America, thank you for your support, thank you for this visit. I thank the President, the Congress and the American people. Ukraine needs a just and lasting peace, and we are working for that,” Zelensky wrote.
First, Vance said that the war between Russia and Ukraine should be resolved through diplomacy. In response, the Ukrainian president said that he had already signed an agreement with Putin in the presence of the French president and the German chancellor.
Zelenskyy also said that if a bad deal is signed between Russia and Ukraine, the United States will “feel it.” Vance and Trump were outraged and replied that they would “feel great” and added that Zelenskyy had no right to impose his opinion.
