As a result of the Russian shelling of Kyiv that took place on the night of Sunday, May 24, a building on Hrushevsky Street—which houses the apartments of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and businessman Timur Mindich—was damaged. This was reported by “Ukrainska Pravda,” according to "Komersant Ukrainian".
The building in question is located at 9a Hrushevsky Street. It is situated near the Verkhovna Rada and the government quarter. According to journalists, the building was damaged by falling debris from struck munitions. A photo published by Ukrainska Pravda shows a hole on the upper floors and shattered windows. Russian shelling also damaged the nearby Summit business center.
According to Ukrainska Pravda, the building at 9a Hrushevsky Street contains apartments belonging to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and sanctioned businessman Timur Mindich.
In November 2025, the publication Texty reported that the daughter of former Verkhovna Rada Speaker Volodymyr Rybak, Natalia, owns property in this building. Additionally, the children of several former regional MPs have apartments at 9a Hrushevsky Street. These include the daughter of Yuriy Ivanyushchenko and the son of former MP and ex-head of the High Economic Court Dmytro Prytyka. Traitor Andriy Derkach, who is currently a senator in Russia, purchased an apartment in this building for his daughter Tetiana Terekhova.
