“Compact and maneuverable”. What is known about the new kamikaze drones for the Armed Forces?

The Ministry of Defense has codified and authorized the use of Ukrainian-made NORD unmanned aerial systems in the Armed Forces.
This was reported by the ministry, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
NORD drones are compact and maneuverable.
These drones have an advanced control system that provides reliable communication between the operator and the drone in the face of enemy electronic warfare.
The Ministry of Defense also said that such aircraft have carbon fiber frames in several sizes.
NORD drones with a payload of several kilograms are capable of reaching speeds of up to 150 kilometers per hour.
In total, more than 44 billion hryvnias will be allocated for the purchase of FPV drones this year.
In December 2024, the Cabinet of Ministers approved a resolution that makes the procurement of domestically produced unmanned systems and electronic warfare (EW) equipment a permanent feature.
At the time, it was assured that military unit commanders would be able to purchase tactical-level drones and electronic warfare systems without unnecessary bureaucratic approvals from the General Staff and other military authorities.
Later, the Ministry of Defense stated that combat units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine would receive direct funding of 2.5 billion hryvnias per month. These funds will be distributed among the brigades of the Armed Forces to purchase drones.
