“Kovalska” has launched a concrete plant in the Lviv region

The Kovalska Group has launched a plant in the Lviv region—the new facility has produced its first batch of aerated concrete. This was reported by the company’s press service, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".
“The Kovalska Group’s new plant in the Lviv region has produced its first commercial batch of autoclave aerated concrete. The products will be sold in Ukraine and for export,” the statement said.
In the first phase, the plant is producing wall blocks and U-blocks for the construction of load-bearing structures and partitions; in the future, the production line is planned to be expanded to include wall panels, floor panels, and lintels.
In total, the plant can produce about 600,000 cubic meters of aerated concrete products per year. Taking logistics into account, in the first phase, the plant’s products are planned to be supplied to the western regions of Ukraine, specifically to the Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Ternopil, Khmelnytskyi, Chernivtsi, Rivne, and Volyn regions, as well as Zakarpattia.

At the same time, Kovalska is developing an export division to supply aerated concrete products to neighboring countries, the company reported.
“After losing the plant in Nova Kakhovka, we remained in the market and began new construction in 2023, attracting foreign investment,” said Serhiy Pylypenko, CEO of the Kovalska Group.
Investments in the first phase of production exceed €50 million. To finance the purchase of high-tech equipment, the company secured a €27 million loan from Invest International through the Dutch Good Growth Fund.
Construction of the plant in Rozvadov began in 2023 as a strategic project aimed at compensating for the loss of the facility in occupied Nova Kakhovka. The plant uses equipment from AIRCRETE EUROPE—a Dutch company specializing in the development, design, and supply of technologies for the production of autoclave-cured aerated concrete.
The Kovalska Group is a Ukrainian vertically integrated holding company specializing in the production of building materials and real estate development. It manufactures concrete, related products, dry construction mixes, gravel, sand, lime, and limestone, as well as constructs residential and commercial properties.
The group comprises over 20 companies. Its products are known under the brands “Beton vid Kovalskoy,” “Avenue,” Siltek, and others. Production facilities are located in the Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Lviv, Kherson, and Chernihiv regions.
