Compared to the previous day, the dollar fell by 5 kopecks.
On Thursday, May 7, the official dollar exchange rate was:
- 1 US dollar — 43.85 UAH
Thus, the hryvnia has strengthened slightly against the US currency.

The official euro exchange rate as of May 8 is:

Compared to the previous day, the euro has fallen by 7 kopecks.
On Thursday, May 7, the euro exchange rate was:
