A bail fund has been set up for Andriy Yermak, the former head of the Office of the President, who was taken into custody on the morning of May 14. The court set the bail amount at 140 million hryvnias. So far, 14.5 million has been raised. Yermak’s lawyer, Ihor Fomin, told Suspilne about this, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".

Roza Tapanova—director of the Babyn Yar National Historical and Memorial Reserve, a lawyer, and cultural manager—contributed 8 million. She announced her decision on Facebook.

“The specified amount of funds is part of my official income, which is listed in my annual declaration. I consider this appropriate to ensure the constitutional right to defense and to uphold the principle of the presumption of innocence,” she explained.

Journalists from Bihus.Info noted that she previously worked as a lawyer at a firm linked to Yermak—the “International Law Firm”—and after he became head of the Office of the President, she allegedly received an appointment to the supervisory board of the state-owned “Oschadbank.”

According to “Schemes,” Serhiy Svyryba contributed another 6.5 million hryvnias.

“He is a lawyer and a former partner at Asters. In March 2025, his wife, Inna Svyryba, was set to become a member of the Verkhovna Rada on the ‘Servant of the People’ list, but she declined the seat,” the report states.

Previously, the media accused Asters of allegedly earning “billions” by securing certain open-ended contracts. Specifically, this referred to contracts with Ukrzaliznytsia, PrivatBank, and Ukrnafta. However, no evidence or legal cases subsequently emerged regarding this accusation.

According to “UP,” Svyryba is a classmate of Andriy Yermak.

Another 666 hryvnias in bail for the former head of the Presidential Office was posted by Hryhoriy Hryshkan, a Ukrainian actor, producer, and public figure.

“In a comment to ‘Schemes,’ he did not explain why he decided to post bail for Yermak, but stated that he is ready to personally discuss ‘his actions and the future of Ukraine,'” the report states.
