$1 Million for Drone Supplies: The High Anti-Corruption Court Arrested a State Border Guard Service Official and a Drone Manufacturer 

The High Anti-Corruption Court has imposed preventive measures on two suspects in a case involving the solicitation and acceptance of a $1 million bribe. The suspects are an official from the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine and the owner of a private company that manufactures drones. This was reported by the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".

According to the court’s decision, both defendants in the case have been remanded in custody with the possibility of posting bail.

For the official of the State Border Service, the bail amount was set at 4 million hryvnias. For the entrepreneur, who owns a company that manufactures unmanned aerial vehicles, the court set bail at 44 million 262 thousand hryvnias.

The criminal investigation is ongoing. Law enforcement officials are establishing all the circumstances of the alleged crime and investigating the involvement of other individuals.
