MES wants to allow TOT residents to enter Master’s degree programme without exams

The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine is preparing changes to the procedure for admission to a master’s degree programme. The ministry plans to allow residents of the temporarily occupied territories to enter without exams. This is stated in the ministry’s response to a parliamentary appeal by Yulia Hryshyna, MP and chair of the Subcommittee on Higher Education, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
According to the response, the Ministry of Education and Science is preparing a draft order “On Amendments to the Procedure for Admission to Higher Education in 2024”.
“The draft proposes to allow persons who are completing their bachelor’s degree this year and are in the temporarily occupied territory to enter higher education institutions of Ukraine to obtain a master’s degree without passing the EMI and EFE when applying for specialities that receive special support,” the response reads,

It is worth noting that this refers only to “specialities that are provided with special support”. In 2024, the list of eligible specialities looks like this:
At the same time, it has recently become known that the proposal for the USQE for postgraduate students from the Ministry of Education will be changed.
