On the third day after his release, Mykhailo Fedorov received a reservation through a charitable foundation

Former Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov, who had previously presented new contracts for military personnel, received an exemption from mobilization through the “Eastern Europe” charitable foundation. This occurred on July 18, three days after he was dismissed from his post as defense minister. Member of Parliament Oleksiy Goncharenko reported this on his Telegram channel, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".
Goncharenko stated that Fedorov should now lead by example and sign the contract for military personnel that he had previously proposed.
According to the lawmaker, Fedorov is subject to military conscription, and he received his draft notice on July 18 —one month after the Ministry of Defense presented new contract formats for military personnel.
“Fedorov never carried out the reform of the Territorial Recruitment Center. And now he needs this reform. He is subject to military conscription. He does not have three children, and he appears to be in perfect health. The Rada elected Yevhen Khmara as minister. That means there is now no other option but to join the military. Plus, as we recall, just two months ago Fedorov’s contracts were presented, which the then-minister touted as the BEST REFORM IN THE ARMY. I don’t think there’s any need to even think about it.
We need to set an example. FEDOROV MUST SIGN FEDOROV’S CONTRACT! That would be fair, at the very least,” Goncharenko wrote.
He later added that Fedorov already has a reservation.
“But why won’t Mr. Fedorov sign Fedorov’s contracts? Because he’s ALREADY RESERVED.
Former Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov has been reserved by the “Eastern Europe” charitable foundation. He received the reservation on July 18. A month ago. But what about the 14-month infantry-assault contract? With the world’s highest salary for an assault soldier? Why did this option turn out to be worse than a position at a charitable foundation?” the MP stated.
As a reminder, Mykhailo Fedorov was dismissed from his post as Minister of Defense of Ukraine along with the entire Cabinet of Ministers on July 15.
