On the night of August 20, the distribution warehouse of the Ukrainian ice cream brand “Faini Lodi” in Kyiv was completely destroyed as a result of yet another Russian missile attack. This facility was a key logistics hub that supplied products not only to the capital but also to 12 other cities in Ukraine. The company reported this on social media, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".
The company reported significant material losses: tons of ice cream, specialized equipment, and vehicles were destroyed in the fire. As a result, the manufacturer is warning consumers about possible temporary disruptions in the availability of products on store shelves.
“We are already working on alternative supply, storage, and logistics solutions. However, there may be disruptions in availability and product variety. We ask for your understanding,” Faini Lody stated.
Despite the massive losses, the company emphasizes that its team is unharmed.
“The most important thing is that everyone is safe. So, we will persevere and get everything back on track. Thank you for standing with us,” the statement reads.
Currently, the company’s specialists are already developing alternative logistics routes and searching for new storage facilities to resume full-scale deliveries to all regions as quickly as possible.
