The list of individuals involved includes:
- Iryna Mudra —former deputy head of the Office of the President;
- Viktor Dubovyk — Director General of the Presidential Office’s Directorate for Legal Policy;
- Olena Ferens — Deputy Minister of Justice;
- Maksym Mykytas — former Member of Parliament;
- Vadym Stolar — Member of Parliament;
- Vasyl Astion — businessman, former member of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council;
- Mykola Hladyshenko — suspended chairman of the supervisory board of the state-owned “Sens Bank”;
- Oleg Stupak — Chairman of the Board of “SENS Bank”;
- Lyudmila Snigur — head of a department at “Sens Bank”;
- Valentin Yelizarov — head of “Metrobud” LLC, who is linked to Mykyta in the case materials;
- Mykita Tarkovsky — an individual associated with Mykitas;
- Yegor Merkulov — Mykytas’s driver, nominal head of “Montazh Service” LLC;
- Oleksandr Ostapenko — Mykyta’s bodyguard and nominal director of “Filosofia Development” LLC.
What Are the “Forest Gump” and “Themis” Cases About?
On August 19, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAPO) released materials from the “Forest Gump” investigation. According to anti-corruption authorities, the case involves a criminal group that organized “the laundering of funds to post bail for former Minister of Energy and Justice Herman Halushchenko.” According to the investigation, the state-owned “Sens Bank” was used in the scheme .
The following day, NABU and the SAPO released the second part of the investigation, titled “Themis.” In it, the anti-corruption agencies reported on the activities of the same group, which, according to investigators, “organized raider takeovers of real estate and businesses in Kyiv.”
