Russia launched a missile strike on the “Snow Panda” factory in the Odesa region. Part of the production and storage facilities has been completely destroyed. There are casualties as a result of the attack.
This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian", citing a statement from the company’s press service and a post by the State Emergency Service of the Odesa region.
“As a result of the enemy missile strike and a massive fire, part of our production and warehouse facilities has been completely destroyed. Unfortunately, some of our employees have been injured—they are currently receiving all necessary medical care,” the statement reads.

The company noted that this was its most important hub, from which products were shipped throughout the country, including those of other brands.
“Today is a difficult day for our entire team, as for 14 years now, ‘Snow Panda’ has been creating a cozy atmosphere and ensuring comfort in Ukrainian homes. This was our most important distribution hub, from which we shipped ‘Snow Panda’ products (as well as goods from our other brands, such as ‘Gentle Touch,’ Zoo Zoo, Helper, and Helper Professional) to every corner of the country,” the company said.

According to the State Emergency Service, rescuers extinguished large-scale fires caused by enemy shelling.

“As a result of a ballistic missile strike, two warehouses storing toilet paper and mineral fertilizers were damaged and caught fire. Firefighters worked under extremely difficult conditions to bring the flames under control. At one of the warehouses, the fire was extinguished in its early stages over a small area, while the other warehouse suffered massive damage, with the fire engulfing thousands of square meters,” the State Emergency Service stated.
Blumi LLC (Odesa), a manufacturer of sanitary and hygiene paper products under the “Snow Panda” trademark, was registered in 2014. The company manufactures sanitary and hygiene products (toilet paper, wipes, towels) made from cellulose derived from imported base paper. The products are manufactured at the facilities of PP “Omega Brokers”—one of Ukraine’s leading manufacturers of cleaning, disinfecting, and sanitary-hygiene products. Four entrepreneurs from Odesa are equal co-owners of the company (each holding a 25% stake).
As a reminder, in April, the Kyiv Cardboard and Paper Mill in Obukhiv suspended production after being hit by an enemy drone. Among the plant’s products is “Obukhiv” toilet paper. This was reported by the plant’s press service, which noted that this was not the first attack on their facility.
