Assault troops in the Ukrainian Armed Forces could be paid up to 460,000 hryvnias a month, according to Gorbenko

Ukraine plans to significantly increase the salaries of military personnel serving in assault units.

This was announced by MP Ruslan Gorbenko on the YouTube channel "Komersant Ukrainian".

According to him, the new pay system provides for a maximum payment of up to 460,000 hryvnias for assault troops.

At the same time, there are plans to limit their combat workload: combat missions will last no more than 10 days per month.

The rest of the time, soldiers will be able to spend on recovery, training, and preparation.

“We are raising the maximum salary for assault troops to 460,000 hryvnias. Assault troops will carry out combat orders for a maximum of 10 days per month. We also plan to recruit foreigners for this service,” Gorbenko noted.

According to the deputy, financial incentives should become one of the main tools for attracting qualified personnel to the military.
