One person was killed and many others were injured in a rocket attack in Kryvyi Rih

On the night of August 16, Russia launched an attack on industrial facilities in Kryvyi Rih. One person was killed and six others were injured as a result of the attack. This was reported by [Komersant], citing Oleksandr Hanzha, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration.

Ganza reported the attack on Kryvyi Rih—according to him, the enemy struck the city’s industrial facilities, causing a fire. Rescue workers immediately began working at the scene.

Initially, there was only one reported casualty, who was receiving medical attention. However, the situation worsened over time: the number of casualties rose to six, and one of them died.

All of the injured are under medical supervision. Information regarding the consequences of the attack may still be subject to change.

This attack on Kryvyi Rih was part of a large-scale nighttime strike across several regions of Ukraine. That same night, the Russians launched ballistic missile strikes on Kyiv—loud explosions were heard in the capital, and explosions had already been reported in other cities across the country prior to that.
