Kyivstar has re-elected its board of directors: who has joined the leadership team

At the annual shareholders’ meeting of the Ukrainian telecommunications operator Kyivstar, all ten members of the board of directors were re-elected. This was reported by the company’s press service , according to "Komersant Ukrainian".

The shareholders’ meeting was held via teleconference, allowing all participants to join remotely. Kyivstar Group Ltd., the parent company of Kyivstar JSC and part of the VEON Group, held its 2026 annual general meeting of shareholders.

New Composition of the Board of Directors

The company’s shareholders re-elected the board consisting of ten current Kyivstar directors. Notable figures on the board include former U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and former CEO of Microsoft Ukraine Dmytro Shymkiv. Other board members include Serdar Çetin and Betsy Cohen. Following the meeting, the new board held its first session and re-elected Kaan Terzioglu as chairman of the board.

“As a reminder, the adjusted net profit of Kyivstar, Ukraine’s largest mobile operator, for the 2025 fiscal year amounted to $289 million, with earnings per share of $1.32,” the company reports.

Earlier, Kyivstar Group Ltd. signed an agreement to acquire 100% of the shares in Tabletki.ua, a medical supplies service in Ukraine, demonstrating its intentions to expand its business into new areas.
