On April 15 at 4:00 p.m., the War Museum in Kyiv will host a screening of films by the winners of the Ruslan Hanushchak International Award, according to "Komersant Ukrainian"
Viewers will be presented with seven documentary films about the ongoing war, created by filmmakers who capture contemporary Ukrainian reality honestly, attentively, and without simplification.
Ruslan Hanushchak was a Ukrainian documentary filmmaker and soldier who filmed the war from the inside, exploring themes of memory, loss, and dignity. On January 11, 2025, he gave his life in battle for Ukraine. The award named after him honors filmmakers who continue this important work and preserve testimonies about the war in its human dimension.

During the event, guests will have the opportunity not only to watch documentary films but also to speak with the award’s founders—Iryna Ganushchak-Forostyan and Lyudmyla Filipovych—as well as with its laureates.
The screening is organized by the Ruslan Ganushchak Foundation. The event is part of a broader effort to support those who document the war and counter misinformation through facts, testimonies, and the truth.
Address: Kyiv, 27 Lavrska St.
