A lavish wedding took place in Cannes on France’s French Riviera for Georgian IT entrepreneur Niki Lomia and 24-year-old Ukrainian model Nika, an event already being called one of the most expensive private celebrations of the year. The ceremony took place at a historic estate overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, and the guests and performers included world-class stars, writes "Komersant Ukrainian", citing information from the media and the couple’s social media accounts.
“The celebration was held in a mansion built back in 1919. The daily rental cost is $100,000. The couple celebrated their wedding over two days,” reports Channel 24.
Maksim Galkin served as the master of ceremonies , not only hosting the event but also performing songs, some of which were Ukrainian.
In particular, during the celebration, the artist gave impromptu performances, including a song from the repertoireof Ukrainian singer Ivo Bobul —“Rozmova z toboju”—as well as other well-known Russian compositions. According to Media-Hub, his fee for the evening was approximately $130,000.
In addition to Galkin, Valery Meladze appeared there , performing his famous hits, including “Samba of the White Moth” and “Salute, Vera!” A Media-Hub source notes that the singer received over $170,000 for his performance.

The headliner of the evening was Puerto Rican singer Ricky Martin, known for his hit “Livin’ La Vida Loca.” His participation in the celebration is estimated to have cost the organizers approximately $1.5 million.
Guests were treated to haute cuisine, including Chateaubriand steak, as well as expensive champagne. The entire event program was conducted in Russian and Ukrainian, as can be heard in the InstaStories posted by the bride.
The Bride and Groom: Who Are They?
The groom , Niki Lomia, is a native of Georgia who, together with partners, founded an IT company in Kyiv specializing in the development of gambling games. His business also operates in Europe.
The bride, Nika, is a Ukrainian model from Kharkiv who previously competed in the “Miss Ukraine” pageant. She currently lives in Monaco and continues her modeling career, though not as intensively as before. She left Ukraine due to the war.
On Instagram, she shared some details about her personal life, revealing that her first date with Nika Lomiya took place at a fast-food restaurant: “My first date with my husband was at McDonald’s. I’m very easygoing; it all depends on who you’re with, not the occasion itself. Even the simplest thing can become the most romantic if you’re with the right person.”
