Ukraine has received the seventh tranche of funding from the European Union under the Ukraine Facility program, totaling 2.8 billion euros. This marks an important step in supporting the country’s economy amid current challenges.
This was reported by Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".
What is the Ukraine Facility program?
The Ukraine Facility program is part of the macro-financial support that the European Union provides to Ukraine to stabilize the economy and support reforms.
The total amount of funding under this mechanism has already exceeded €29.4 billion.
Objectives and use of funding
As reported by Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko, the funds received will be directed toward financing priority expenditures of the state budget, particularly social and humanitarian needs.
“Taking into account the repayment of previously provided advance financing, the state budget has actually received 2.6 billion euros,” she noted.

To receive this tranche, Ukraine fulfilled 11 indicators of the Ukraine Plan, covering reforms in the areas of public administration, economic policy, energy, digitalization, and the rule of law.
Thanks to the early fulfillment of its commitments, Ukraine will receive additional compensation for the first time.
By the end of May 2026, Ukraine had already implemented 86 measures of the Plan, with another 65 at various stages of implementation. The government continues to systematically implement the necessary changes to ensure economic stability, the country’s recovery, and progress toward EU membership.
In addition, the Verkhovna Rada adopted a law ratifying the agreement to receive €90 billion in macro-financial assistance under the Loan for Ukraine.
