Yuriy Kostenko, a former Minister of Environmental Protection and Nuclear Safety and a five-term member of the Ukrainian Parliament, commented in an interview with the YouTube channel "Komersant Ukrainian" on reports that bail had been posted for Andriy Yermak and stated that the source of these funds must be investigated.

He also emphasized that among those who contributed to the bail are representatives of the bureaucratic establishment.

“Given that the rest of the people who contributed to the bail—we know their names, we know where they worked or still work—are all officials in the system that Andriy Borysovych Yermak oversaw for a long time,” the politician said.

Kostenko also commented on the income level of the former coach of the Ukrainian national team.

“He earned 1.25 million euros a year in Ukraine as head coach of the national team. In monthly terms, that’s approximately 5.4 million hryvnias,” he stated.

According to the politician, the 30 million hryvnias Rebrov posted as bail is comparable to his earnings from several months of work. Therefore, according to Kostenko, law enforcement agencies should investigate the sources of the funds used as bail.
