No power outages are planned in Ukraine today, April 26. Energy officials are urging residents to use high-power appliances during daytime hours. This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian", citingUkrenergo.
Recommendations for consumers
According to energy officials, no consumption restrictions are expected on Sunday.
However, residents are asked to use the power grid sparingly and take peak loads into account.
In particular, experts advise shifting the use of energy-intensive processes to daytime hours—from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
At the same time, citizens are urged to limit the use of high-power electrical appliances in the evening hours, specifically from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
As a reminder, a large-scale scheme to embezzle funds from the National Energy Company “Ukrenergo” was recently uncovered in Ukraine. Between 2022 and 2024, company officials and representatives of commercial entities organized equipment purchases at inflated prices, causing the state losses totaling over 447 million hryvnias.
