Spain wins Euro 2024

The Spanish national football team has become the European champion. The team beat England 2-1 in the final of Euro 2024, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
The first half of the match was scoreless. The game changed dramatically in the second half.
In the 47th minute, Williams scored in the corner of the goal after a pass from Yamal.
Over the next 15 minutes, Spain had several more good chances to double their lead, but the English held on.
England head coach Gareth Southgate made two substitutions, bringing on Watkins and Palmer. England scored in the 73rd minute through the efforts of Bellingham and Palmer.
In the 86th minute, Oyarzabal closed down Cucurella’s shot and brought his team the victory.

This is the fourth title in the history of Spanish football at this tournament and the best performance among national teams at the Euros.
England became the first team in history to lose in two consecutive Euro finals.
It will be recalled that on 26 June, the national team of Ukraine was left out of the playoffs of the European Championship 2024 following the results of the third round in Group E. The Blue and Yellows drew with Belgium in the final match of the tournament – 0: 0.
