Mobilization in Ukraine: how much time is left to book employees

Employers will have 72 hours after February 28 to rebook their employees. This was announced by MP Oleksandr Fediyenko on his Telegram channel, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
According to him, business leaders will be able to apply for rebooking employees within 72 hours through the Diia portal. At the same time, territorial recruitment centers will have the right to mobilize these persons liable for military service during this period.
He explained that the Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 1332, which amended Resolution No. 76, is currently in effect. According to the document, the current reservation from mobilization is valid until February 28, 2025.
“I am confused about the mechanism of re-booking. That is, whether it will be possible to do it before February 28. I have already prepared requests to the Cabinet of Ministers to improve this issue,” Fediyenko wrote.
As a reminder, the Government has extended the validity of mobilization reservations for one month due to a cyberattack on state registers.
The relevant decision applies to those reservations that were valid as of December 19 and provided in accordance with Resolution No. 76 of January 27, 2023.
For example, if an employee’s reservation expired on December 20, 2024, it will be automatically extended until January 20, 2025. If the reservation expired before December 19, i.e. before the cyberattack, employers will be able to renew it after the registers resume their work.
“This decision allows those liable for military service with a valid reservation to keep it without unnecessary procedures. We ensure transparency and convenience in these processes, which is important in wartime,” explained Deputy Minister of Economy Vitaliy Kindrativ.
According to him, this decision will simplify the procedure for extending reservations, especially for those who work in critical industries or are involved in ensuring the country’s economic stability.
