Following the Russian Federation’s nighttime attack, Ukrzaliznytsia urgently changed train routes: which trains are delayed

Following Russia’s massive nighttime attack on Kyiv and the Kyiv region , Ukrzaliznytsia has implemented temporary changes to the schedules and routes of a number of commuter and regional trains. Some trains are running with delays of up to 2.5 hours, certain routes have been adjusted, and some trains have been temporarily canceled.
This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian", citing Ukrzaliznytsia.
Which trains are delayed on the Kyiv route
According to the carrier, the most significant changes have affected trains on the Nizhyn route.
The following trains are running with delays:
- No. 6903 Nizhyn — Kyiv-Pasazhyrskyi — up to 2 hours;
- No. 893 Konotop — Kyiv — up to 2 hours;
- No. 6911 Nizhyn — Kyiv-Passenger — up to 1.5 hours;
- No. 6902 Kyiv-Volynskyi — Nizhyn — up to 2.5 hours;
- No. 6906 Kyiv — Nizhyn — about 1 hour.
In addition, some trains on the Nizhyn–Kyiv route will temporarily run via Brovary Station, and certain trips may be removed from the schedule.

Changes on the Korosten Route
Temporary restrictions are also in effect on the Zhytomyr route.
Specifically:
- Train No. 6610 from Korosten to Borshchahivka will not run today;
- Train No. 6604 from Teteriv to Sviatoshyn departed with a delay of 1 hour and 7 minutes.
Ukrzaliznytsia urges passengers to pay close attention to announcements at train stations and stops.
Train Delays in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast
Due to security measures, the schedule has also been temporarily adjusted in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
The following trains are running late:
- No. 6010 P’yatykhatky–Dnipro-Holovnyi — 1 hour and 10 minutes;
- No. 6501 P’yatykhatky — Kryvyi Rih-Holovnyi — 2 hours 5 minutes;
- No. 6005 Dnipro-Holovnyi — P’yatykhatky — 1 hour 25 minutes.
In addition, the following regional train is departing from its origin station with a delay of 1 hour and 10 minutes:
- No. 862 Dnipro-Holovnyi — Zaporizhzhia-1.
The transfer in Hrebinka will change
Ukrzaliznytsia also announced adjustments to the schedule due to the need to ensure passenger transfers.
To accommodate the arrival of train No. 6241 Pryluky–Hrebinka, which is delayed by approximately 20 minutes, the following trains will depart:
- No. 6364 Hrebinka–Romodan;
- No. 6807 Hrebinka — Kyiv-Passenger.

The company emphasizes that all changes are related to safety measures following Russian shelling and may be adjusted promptly depending on the situation.
Passengers are advised to:
- check the current status of their trains;
- listen carefully to announcements at train stations;
- follow the instructions of railway staff during any safety stops.
Earlier reports indicated that railway infrastructure in the Kyiv region was damaged as a result of a nighttime combined attack by Russia, and service on certain trains was temporarily suspended due to the threat of further strikes.
