Russia burned down a warehouse containing products from “Fröken Bock,” Smile, and Novita in Dnipro

The Russian occupation army continues to deliberately target Ukrainian civilian enterprises. A Russian attack drone struck the finished goods warehouse of the “Biosfera” corporation in Dnipro. As a result of the attack, the logistics complex, which stored goods from well-known Ukrainian brands—including “Freken Bok, ” Smile, Novita, PRO Service, Vortex, Eventa, and “LaiKit”—was completely destroyed by fire.
This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian", citing the company’s press service.
Russian UAV destroyed finished goods warehouse
According to the company, a Russian drone struck the finished goods warehouse directly.
The strike triggered a massive fire that engulfed the entire building.
“Fortunately, no one was injured—that’s the most important thing. At the time of the attack, the staff was in a shelter,” the Biosphere press office noted.
Despite the rapid response of emergency responders, the warehouse could not be saved.
Founded in 1997, Biosphere Corporation manufactures kitchen, cleaning, and hygiene products. The company’s best-known brands include “Freken BOK,” Smile, Selpak, Vortex, Bambik, and others. The company’s products are available in more than 25 countries, and its production facilities include six plants in Ukraine and two in Europe. Its portfolio comprises 25 brands and approximately 2,000 SKUs.
By the end of 2025, Biosphere had restored its annual revenue to nearly pre-war levels—$173 million—invested 500 million UAH in Ukraine’s economy, and increased the share of its international business to 30%.
A 6,000-square-meter warehouse was completely destroyed
As a result of the fire, a 6,000-square-meter building was completely gutted.
Along with finished products, the following were destroyed:
- warehouse equipment;
- loading equipment;
- logistics infrastructure;
- the company’s inventory.
Experts are currently determining the final amount of damages.

What Will Happen to Product Shipments
The company reported that its production facilities continue to operate.
The corporation’s management has already begun:
- reorganizing logistics;
- reallocating warehouse inventory;
- changing supply routes;
- minimizing the impact on partners and customers.
At the same time, customers have been warned that deliveries of certain items may be temporarily delayed.
This is the second blow to “Biosphere”
The company noted that this is already the second large-scale Russian attack on the corporation’s facilities in the past year and a half.
Specifically, on April 10, 2025, a Russian missile struck the “Biosphere Complex” production facility.
Despite the damage sustained at the time, the facility resumed operations and continued production.
The current attack demonstrates once again that Russia is systematically targeting civilian infrastructure and Ukrainian businesses, destroying production and logistics facilities that serve no military purpose whatsoever.
